What types of air conditioning systems do you install?

We install split systems (single and multi-split), ducted air conditioning, cassette units and high wall-mounted units. For luxury London properties we also offer concealed systems where the indoor unit is hidden in the ceiling or void space with only discreet grilles visible.

Which AC brands do you install and service?

We install and service leading brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG and Samsung. These are chosen for their reliability, efficiency and compatibility with smart home systems. We'll recommend the best brand and model for your specific space and requirements.

Can air conditioning also provide heating?

Yes — modern air conditioning systems (heat pumps) provide both cooling and heating. They are extremely efficient in heating mode, delivering 3–4 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity consumed, making them a cost-effective alternative to gas heating for some properties.

Are you F-Gas certified?

Yes — all of our AC engineers hold F-Gas certification as required by UK law for handling refrigerants. This is a mandatory qualification for anyone installing, servicing or decommissioning air conditioning systems that use fluorinated greenhouse gases.

How discreet can the installation be?

Very discreet. For high-spec London properties, we can route pipework through voids, under floors or through risers to minimise visible pipework. Outdoor units can be installed in concealed plant areas or roof spaces in many cases. We discuss options during the survey.

Can my AC system integrate with my smart home?

Yes — the brands we install are compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. We can also integrate with Heatmiser or other smart home platforms. Full smart home integration is included in our installation service.

How often does my AC system need servicing?

We recommend annual servicing for all AC systems. A service includes filter cleaning, refrigerant level check, inspection of electrical connections, coil cleaning and performance testing. Regular servicing maintains efficiency, extends system life and keeps the manufacturer warranty valid.

How long does an AC installation take?

A single split system installation typically takes 1 day. Multi-room or ducted systems may take 2–4 days depending on complexity. We'll provide a precise programme during the survey.

Is planning permission required for AC installation in London?

In most cases, domestic AC installation does not require planning permission. However, listed buildings or properties in conservation areas may have restrictions. We can advise on this during the survey and have experience working within the constraints of heritage properties.

What maintenance can I carry out myself?

The main thing you can do is clean or replace the air filters every 1–3 months, depending on usage. Everything else — refrigerant checks, electrical inspections, coil cleaning — should be carried out by a qualified F-Gas engineer during your annual service visit.
