Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, only registered engineers are permitted to install, service or repair gas boilers, gas cookers, gas fires and associated pipework. RARE's engineers are Gas Safe registered, fully insured and provide their registration card on arrival at every job.

For landlords, the obligation to hold a valid Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) for every tenanted property is both a legal duty and a matter of tenant safety. Failure to comply is a criminal offence that can result in unlimited fines and imprisonment.
